During the organised walking weeks in spring the guests stay in Fattoria Landrucci.
The Fattoria is a converted farmhouse. The mansion is located in a valley which stretches below the ancient mountain town of Cortona. A rolling landscape, with vineyards, corn and sunflower fields interspersed with pine trees and cypresses. A little further are the wooded mountains of Umbria, the foothills of the Apennines.
For shopping you can visit Terontola (about 2 km.). In Terontola you will find banks with ATMs, a post office, shops and supermarkets. Except for the first evening, meals are not included so you can decide yourself whether, where, when and how you want to eat. Eating out in a typical Italian restaurant, or prepare your own meals. After the walks there is ample time for shopping.
Historical cities like Florence, Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia and Rome are quickly and easily accessible by train from Terontola . Travelling further into Italy from Landrucci is therefore no problem.
By plane from Rome or Florence, then by car on the highway with an exit 4 km from the house.
There are good train connections, Terontola station is 2 km from Landrucci. You can take a taxi in Terontola, or phone Landrucci and you will be picked up.

If you want to extend your stay you can (only as participant of the walking programme) also rent a room. This option is only available during walking weeks for the price of € 300 per week for a double room.
